Kirsten Goldstein

Kirsten has been dancing all her life, but never realized how much she loved it until she was 15. She attend the Perpich Center for Arts Education and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, both majoring in Dance. There she was exposed to modern dance in the Twin Cities Dance Community and worked with local artists and companies such as Shapiro and Smith Dance, and ARENA Dance, Penny Freeh of James Sewell Ballet, TU Dance, Voice of Culture, Black Label Movement, and many others. She has a wide range of movement experience from Ballet to African.

Kirsten is excited to be back in Bemidji for a second year after a summer of unicycling in Europe. She attends BSU for International Studies, Geography and Spanish. She is also a licensed Zumba Instructor. Here at First City Dance she will be teaching Ballet and Modern. Kirsten can’t wait to see what the year will hold!
