Kaylan Ellis
Instructor

Kaylan has been dancing since she was 11 years old. Throughout the years she has danced many styles, but her true love has always been tap. She enjoys experimenting with rhythm, creating unique choreography, and delving into the rich history of tap. Her teaching style focuses on technique and musicality, emphasizing the importance of understanding the intricacies of tap to her students. In her senior year of high school she won the title of Ovation Dance Challenge National Champion in the elite senior soloist category.

As an instructor she has taught a variety of ages and levels, including a children's recreational class, and a beginner adult class. She has also choreographed and taught competitive level tap groups, which have received first and second place awards, as well as special judges awards. She loves watching her students grow and thrive, and guiding them to discover the fullness of their capabilities.
