Our goal is to have all of our students get the most out of their lessons.
Always get to the studio 10-15 minutes before your lesson begins. Being early will help you prepare physically and mentally for the best lesson. Have the correct clothing and shoes ready, and have your hair up in a proper fashion for the type of dance you are taken.
Act accordingly at all times when at the studio. It will create the proper atmosphere to learn- for you, and everyone else. We have the right to dismiss you from your lesson, or the studio, if you are being disruptive or disrespectful.
The best way to progress in class is to focus on the lesson, and not be distracted. Treat the art with respect and reverence, and you will see improvements.
Do not disturb teacher or students during any lesson.
If a student must leave early, the teacher must be notified prior to the beginning of the lesson.
All observers must watch from the lobby areas. Direct observation is a distraction to the teacher and students.
If you need to speak with a teacher, please leave them a note or call and arrange an appointment to meet. Please do not try to catch the teacher in-between classes.
Set importance on regular attendance. Missing lessons will create gaps in your training. This will cause a distraction in the flow of the educational process. It is the student’s responsibility to get caught up.
All absences must be excused 3 hours prior to class. You may contact the studio by calling or go on line at dance@paulbunyan.net. There are no make up classes for unexcused absences.
